The Sky the Assyrians Carried in Clay
By Aldebaran Oracleborn

I found this while gathering notes for the celestial maps exhibition, and it stopped me cold. It walks through the Nineveh Planisphere, a clay tablet from Ashurbanipal's library where the constellations were drawn and labeled and left for someone to find thousands of years later. It is the same instinct I follow in my own work: we never invent the sky, we only learn to read what was already written across it. Watch it and you will see the first cartographers of the heavens doing exactly that.
