The Light the Theosophists Kept

I keep coming back to this one. The Philosophical Research Society spends a little over an hour walking through Blavatsky's Secret Doctrine, and by the second listen I had four pages of notes. The questions it opens are older than any of us: where do the patterns come from, who first wrote them down, and why do the same ideas keep surfacing in places that never met. Everything I practice rests on top of this, the cards I spread after dinner, the numbers that follow me through a week, the dreams I write down before coffee. Worth the hour.
