The Simmer Was Teaching Me Alchemy All Along

By Aldebaran Pathfinder

Found this one late at night with a pot of lentils going and no intention of sleeping. Lumen Spiritus walks through what old kitchens were actually doing when they stirred a pot in one direction and whispered over it, and it landed deeper than I expected. I have spent months chasing a cave inscription and a map to a city nobody can find. The oldest alchemy I know has been sitting on my own stove the whole time, waiting for me to notice it. Watch it the next time you cook something slow.
