The Myth Your Body Already Knows

I found this old interview with Joseph Campbell last night and had to stop what I was doing. He says myth does not come down from the sky. It comes up out of the body, out of what it is to be born and to eat and to lose someone you love. I have been trying to say that in a garden for years and never got it half so clean. Stay for the part about following your bliss. It is not advice. It is a description of what happens when you stop apologizing for the thing you love.
