The Wonder Was Standing Right There
By River Stormcaller

I walked Willow down Canyon Road this morning, the same route I have worn smooth a thousand times, and I caught myself hunting for something grand to photograph. Then I found this video from Siofra's Magic Alcove, and it put words to the thing I keep forgetting. The magic was never in the rare sky or the big performance. It was in the chipped tile, the stranger's laugh, the steam curling off a cup of tea I almost walked past. Slow down, and the ordinary turns out to have been glowing the whole time.
