Painted the studio wall the wrong green twice

hey there! ok so. the studio wall is finally green. not the green I ordered. the green that happened when I panicked and grabbed the wrong can at Home Depot and told myself intuition picked it. I am opening an art and wellness studio in Los Angeles. Real keys. Real lease. Real terror in my stomach that wakes up before my alarm. My friends keep saying congratulations like I have already arrived. I am still hauling juice pulp to the compost bin and questioning every paint choice. That is the honest update. If you want polished perfection content, I have other posts. This one is paint on my sandals. What the studio is supposed to feel like Not a spa that whispers at you for spending money. Not a gallery that makes you afraid to touch anything. A room where you can make a mess and breathe. One corner for Reiki and quiet. One wall for rotating art. One long table for workshops where paint

gets on sleeves and nobody performs enlightenment. I named it late at night and will not say the name here yet because names feel like spells and I want the first group to hear it in person. Organic juicing became part of prep because I needed something repetitive that was not branding. Kale, ginger, apple. Strainer clog. Repeat. My hands stopped shaking around batch four. Imposter syndrome showed up when the sign installer asked if I had liability forms ready. I did. I still felt like a kid wearing mom's blazer. My landlord brought tamales while we reviewed the lease. I cried a little. Not from sadness. From relief that someone human was involved. Juice, nerves, and the festival workshop The wellness festival workshop is next month. I am teaching mindfulness through color mixing, which sounds cute until you realize adults cry over color sometimes. I tested the session on my cousin Dante

who hates spirituality content. He said it was fine, which from him is basically a five-star review. Festival prep overlaps studio prep. Same tote bags. Same portable speakers. Same me forgetting extension cords. I drank too much green juice one morning and had to teach a Zoom call with a stomach that sounded like a rainforest. Professionalism is a spectrum. Astrology note because I always do this: Venus transiting something loud in my chart and my Pinterest boards got unreasonably pretty. Correlation. Maybe. I packed backup brushes. Learned that after the kale incident. Life teaches in weird metaphors. Social media versus the actual room Content creator life wants before photos polished. The room had drop cloths and a ladder and me in paint shorts. I posted one messy photo anyway. Comments said inspiring. I was literally holding a burrito in the other hand. LA is a city of multitudes. I

am trying to grow presence without turning my spiritual practice into a performance schedule. If I only post when the light is golden, I am lying about the work. The studio floor still has a scuff from moving the massage table. I am not fixing it yet. Proof something happened here. A follower asked if the studio is only for women. No. Just for humans who can respect quiet and clean up after themselves. Disrespect for beliefs still gets you blocked. I said it nicely once. I will not say it nicely twice. Opening week plans (subject to change) Soft open for friends who will tell me the truth. Public open the week after if the fire inspector is kind. Free tea. Paid workshops later. I need to eat. Rent is spiritual too, unfortunately. I will host a small mindfulness circle and an astrology collage night. Paper, glue, laughter allowed. If you are local and want the soft open list, comment

here. I answer DMs slower than I answer real faces. Wrong green wall stays. It grew on me. Or I got tired of fighting it. Growth is both. Bring socks if you sit on the floor. The rug is new and I am precious about it. Fair warning. Closing Reflection Love and light does not mean everything is figured out. Sometimes it means you painted twice and opened anyway. See you in the room if you are nearby. Bring curiosity. Leave drama at the door. Love and light ✨ — Isabella
